GET TO KNOW WARD 2
Sitting in the center of DC, Ward 2 is home to approximately 100,000 residents in over 15 neighborhoods. The Ward 2 community includes Shaw, Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, Georgetown, West End, Foggy Bottom, Sheridan-Kalorama, Hillandale, Burleith, Mount Vernon, Chinatown, and Penn Quarter.
MEET BROOKE
In 2020, Brooke Pinto became the youngest person ever elected to the DC Council and the first woman to represent Ward 2. For the past three years, she has led the charge for common-sense solutions to address the most important problems facing Ward 2 residents: public safety, housing affordability and homelessness, and recovery from the pandemic. She is running for reelection to continue delivering pragmatic problem-solving and ethical, responsive leadership to Ward 2.
PRIORITIES
Brooke talks to Ward 2 residents every day and their concerns shape her priorities in office. She works every day to address the important issues that are top of mind for Ward 2 residents.
